Just a week before the release of Cities: Skylines 2, developer Colossal Order and publisher Paradox Interactive have issued a warning to fans about the city builder’s performance.

The statement was posted on the Paradox Interactive forum today as both a news item and a FAQ, and the message is, essentially: lower your expectations. 

“Cities: Skylines 2 is a next-gen title, and naturally, it demands certain hardware requirements,” the statement reads. “With that said, while our team has worked tirelessly to deliver the best experience possible, we have not achieved the benchmark we targeted.”

I stumbled across this Lenovo Legion Slim 5 laptop deal this afternoon, while on the hunt for cheap RTX 4050 gaming laptops. The first that caught my attention was the price, rapidly followed by the graphics chip. An RTX 4060? Surely not for just $850?

The Kyoto District court has found 27 year-old Takemi Kazama guilty of intimidation of business by repeatedly posting threats of harm, in relation to posts made using a Nintendo website’s online form in August and November 2023 (thanks, NHK).

In 2023 alone we saw nearly a dozen games like Battlefield, Call of Duty: Warzone, Knockout City, Spellbreak, Gundam Evolution, and more meet the same grim fate as the lights went off for good.
